Family Photo Session at Riverside Park in Findlay

This family photo session was pure joy! I met the Nugeness family for their family photo session at the Riverside Park in Findlay, Ohio. We met early in the morning to avoid the crowds and beat the rain that was forecasted for the area. At one point, we could hear thunder and thought we might have to cut the session short, but luckily we made it through the entire session without it raining on us.

They wanted to focus on getting spontaneous, in the moment photos that would showcase their authentic story. The family took their time walking around and exploring the different areas of the park. One of their daughter’s favorite spots is the playground. We made sure to get lots of photos of her playing on the slide and throughout the entire space.

This session touched my heart. It was amazing to witness them playing with their daughter, showering her with love, and doting on her. They know that these moments with their baby girl are fleeting and that they need captured and preserved. Not only will they be able to look back and relive these moments, but their daughter will be able to see herself grow up and pass these photos down

I feel absolutely blessed and grateful that they reached out to met to capture these moments. For the last year I have been focusing on just couples, weddings, and elopements. However, this session made me realize that I want to be able to capture more.

Special Announcement:

My love for photography started with my love for the photos my Mom and Dad captured and preserved for my Sister and I. We grew up looking through our photo albums again and again and again. I want to be able to provide that for other families. So, I will officially be adding family photography to my photography options!! I can’t wait to preserve more memories!
